The one thing that I love about the season of Spring is because it’s the blooming time of the Sakura (: !

I’ve always been amazed by many Japanese musicians who’ve composed and performed songs that inspired by Sakura.
Their works are totally cool and very heart warming x)

Well, I can share some examples too.

Mika Nakashima – Sakurairo Mau Koro

“This song is a lyrical and heartwarming love song about lovers parting in springtime. Mika uses her extraordinary singing skills, blending her tender vocals with the stirring piano and strings accompaniment. The song is written by an upcoming singer/songwriter Kawae Minako, who was inspired by Mika’s strong presence and wrote the song in a day.”

Angela Aki – Sakura Iro

“Even now my home is gently
echoing throughout my heart
I can hear that song right now…

Oh my beloved, if I close my eyes
I can see the two of us, way back then
the sight of you, colored by the Sakura
the image of myself, colored by the Sakura
oh that time, of the Sakura color
I will never, ever, never
ever, forget”

Sakura-Iro notes:

This song is not a romantic love song, even though it could be interpreted as such. According to Angela herself, it is a song about her grandmother and how the time they spent together during her youth strengthened her.

And lastly,

Hoshimura Mai – Sakura Hiyori

I’m sure those Bleach’s fan out there will find this familiar right? (;

Okay, It’s kinda sad that I couldn’t really find the translation lyrics :x but by listening to the song, it certainly warms your heart eh? haha!
